Movement

posted by Mel

When she moves around a lot (usually after a meal) my heart races. I can feel my pulse beating in my throat. I’m not sure if it’s purely a physical response to her movement, like she’s snorfing up the blood supply and my heart is speeding up to get us both what we need to keep going, or if it’s actually the adrenaline rush that comes from fear.

that use to happen to me occasionally. i always figured it was a physical response. i was always so happy to feel the movement that i didn’t worry as much about the fact that it felt like i could have a heart attack ; )

oh, wow! that has to be the coolest thing ever. i’m thinking that you have already fallen so deep in love, that she’s making your heart do flips!

  4. Hrm. I’ve never heard of that. I see another commenter said it’s happened to them too.

Enjoy the movements. It’s something that I miss so much when I’m no longer pregnant.

  8. Hi Ladies! Since we’re almost the same length of time along, I was glad to read your post. I get the same feeling. It’s either the racing heart or I feel like she’s going to kick through my bladder. We’re so glad that she’s moving so much. It’s a good thing. Maybe she’s trying to reassure you that she’s ok? We all know she’s a little fighter 🙂

  9. Isn’t that just the greatest feeling?!!?!!

  10. I’m glad you got through that fearsome patch and that you’re relishing the feelings. I hope all continues to go well!
