Hey, don’t I know you?

Doesn't this dude look like the guy who does the Goodwill commercials? (He's not. He's the sole survivor from the Sago mine accident.)

Mel's confident we'll be done with our hair appt around 7ish, which puts us at Ralph's Great Divide around 7:30. And, I think we're going to do a movie Saturday evening.

Time to go to the movies

Gay Sex in the 70s starts this Friday at Key Cinemas in Beech Grove. I think a large gay contigent is going Friday night, so that's the night we won't be going. They've been showing the preview for this for awhile, and it looks interesting. Note the title, though, this is about men.

If gay sex isn't your thing, you should definitely go see Vin Diesel in Find Me Guilty before it stops running. You'll have no idea you're watching Vin Diesel. He's really good.

Dead Body in the Front Yard

Everytime I look out the window and see that blue tarp draped over the flowerbeds I think there's a dead body in the front yard.

Dinner anyone?

Any of you lurkers interested in dinner Thursday night? It's Dining Out for Life, so I know you're going out anyway. I'm thinking Ralph's Great Divide – drinks and a cup of Hot Pot Aug. Who could resist?

Hoping a new cable modem does the trick

Bright House sent another technician to my house. He replaced my old school 3com cable modem with an RCA-branded modem. Made in Mexico by Thomson Multimedia doesn’t really inspire confidence.

3rd Place

(posted by Indymel)

Our paperwork reached the cryobank, and we're officially third on the waiting list for our chosen donor. I'm supposed to call back at the end of the week to see if we can get any details on when he can be expected to make another deposit, but the nurse didn't seem to think anymore IUI would be available in May, which would mean that we don't get started trying until at least June. We're still discussing whether we want to use a back-up donor, use ICI, or wait for IUI units from this donor. I'm really torn. I'm tired of waiting. We have some momentum right now, and I'd like to get this over with and get pregnant. On the other hand, if we wait till June, our bank account would probably be happier, and I could have a few drinks while we're on vacation on the Outer Banks. Decisions.
